Improved User Experience: Tariff Options
During the period between 2017 to 2022, I assumed the role of User Experience Designer for a comprehensive project centered around the development of a business contract management platform. This project was commissioned by a prominent German telecommunications company, and my responsibilities were crucial in shaping the user interface and overall experience of the platform.
One of the notable subprojects within this endeavor focused on enhancing the management of tariff options of mobile tariffs for individual or multiple selected employees (read SIM card users). Recognising the significance of this aspect, I spearheaded efforts to optimise the user journey for tariff option management.
A key achievement was the successful reduction of the number of web pages dedicated to tariff option management from three pages down to a single, streamlined page. This redesign not only contributed to a more efficient and intuitive user experience but also had a positive impact on usability. The simplified process resulted in a more user-friendly interface, making it easier for customers to navigate and manage the tariff options of their employees.
The tangible outcome of these improvements was a notable increase in customer engagement. More customers of the telecommunications company actively utilised the platform to manage their tariff options, showcasing the success of the streamlined design in fostering user participation.
